Austin Kannada Sangha (AKS)

AKS is a non-profit organization for Kannadigas living in the Austin metro area. Our purpose is to promote Kannada language and the culture of its people through an engaged and vibrant community.

Our Story

Founded in 2000, AKS has served to bring Kannadigas together to cherish and celebrate our culture and heritage. Ugadi and Rajyothsava/Deepavali are our marquee events of the year. In addition, we organize Sangeethotsava, Natya Sangama and a fall Picnic. We also organize other special events to bring the community together. We also started Kannada Kali classes since 2018.
