ಆಸ್ಟಿನ್ ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಂಘ - Austin Kannada Sangha (AKS)

 

Austin Kannada Sangha (AKS) is a vibrant non-profit organization serving Kannadigas in the Austin metro area. Founded in 2000, AKS has been dedicated to bringing the community together to cherish, celebrate, and promote the rich language, culture, and heritage of Karnataka.

 

Our mission is to foster an inclusive and engaged community where individuals and families can connect, celebrate traditions, and pass them on to future generations.

What We Do

• Host marquee events such as Ugadi and Rajyotsava/Deepavali

• Organize cultural programs including Sangeethotsava and Natya Sangama

• Conduct our annual Fall Picnic to bring families together

• Plan special events and community initiatives throughout the year to strengthen connections

• Run Kannada Kali classes (since 2018) to help the next generation learn the language and stay connected to their roots
