ಆಸ್ಟಿನ್ ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಂಘ - Austin Kannada Sangha (AKS)

ಯುಗಾದಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಆಸ್ಟಿನ್ ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಂಘದ ಸದಸ್ಯರಿಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಹಾಡು, ನೃತ್ಯ, ನಾಟಕ ಪ್ರತಿಭೆಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ತಮ್ಮ ಕನ್ನಡದ ಒಲವನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿ, ಚಿತ್ತಾಕರ್ಷಕ, ಕರ್ಣಾನಂದಕರ, ನಯನ ಮನೋಹರ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಜೀಹ್ವಾ ಚಾಪಲ್ಯವನ್ನು ತಣಿಸುವ ಸ್ವಾಧಿಷ್ಟ ಹಬ್ಬದ ಭೋಜನದೊಂದಿಗೆ, ಕನ್ನಡ ಬಂಧುಗಳನೊಳಗೂಡಿ, ನಕ್ಕು ನಲಿದು ಸಂಭ್ರಮ ಪಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ರೂಪುಗೊಂಡ ಒಂದು ಉತ್ತಮವಾದ ವೇದಿಕೆ. ವಿಶ್ವಾವಸು ನಾಮ ಸಂವತ್ಸರ ೨೦೨೫ ರ ಹೊಸ ಯುಗದ ಆರಂಭದ ಸಂಕೇತವಾದ ಈ ಹಬ್ಬ, ಬೇವು ಬೆಲ್ಲದಂತೆ, ಬದುಕಿನ ಏರಿಳಿತಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವೆಲ್ಲ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರೂ ಒತ್ತಾಸೆಯಾಗಿ ಇರಬೇಕೆಂಬ ಸಾಮರಸ್ಯದ ದ್ಯೋತಕ.

Yugadi program serves as a platform for members of the Austin Kannada Sangha to showcase their talents in singing, dancing and drama, thereby expressing their love and affection towards the Kannada language. Alongside captivating performances and entertaining activities, it provides an excellent stage for enjoying a festive feast, spreading joy, celebrating and creating a conducive atmosphere for laughter and merriment. This festival in Vishvavasu Nama Samvatsara 2025, represents the beginning of new year and similar to neem-jaggery, signifies that all of us Kannadigas should stand united during life’s ups and downs.
