Terms and Conditions

Event Name: AKS Naatya Sangama 2025

Waiver and Release Agreement:

By registering for and participating in the Naatya Sangama event organized by Austin Kannada Sangha (AKS) on January 25, 2025, the participant (or legal guardian, if the participant is under 18 years of age) agrees to the following terms:

1. Assumption of Risk

I acknowledge that participating in any performance involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, property damage, or unforeseen incidents. I voluntarily assume all such risks associated with my participation in the event.

2. Release of Liability

I hereby release and hold harmless Austin Kannada Sangha, its officers, members, volunteers, and venue providers (Austin Hindu Temple), from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or loss arising out of or related to my participation in the event.

3. Medical Consent

In the event of any medical emergency during my participation in the event, I authorize the event organizers to seek appropriate medical care on my behalf. I understand that I am responsible for any medical costs incurred as a result.

4. Photography and Videography Consent

I grant Austin Kannada Sangha the right to use any photographs or videos taken during the event for promotional, educational, or archival purposes without any compensation or prior approval. I waive any claims related to the use of my likeness in such media.

5. Compliance with Rules

I agree to follow all event guidelines, instructions, and safety protocols set by the organizers. Failure to comply may result in disqualification from the event.

6. Indemnification

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Austin Kannada Sangha, its officers, members, and volunteers from any claims, liabilities, or damages arising from my actions during the event.

7. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes will be resolved under the jurisdiction of the courts of Travis County, Texas.

Acknowledgment and Agreement

By selecting the waiver checkbox during registration, I confirm that:
• I have read and understood the terms of this waiver.
• I agree to abide by all the terms outlined above.
• I understand that my registration will not be considered complete without

acknowledging this waiver.
