Welcome to the Austin Kannada Sangha web site. Austin Kannada Sangha (AKS) is an official non-profit organization for Kannadigas living in Austin and surrounding areas. The purpose of this organization is to provide an opportunity for Kannada speaking immigrants from India to promote and preserve Kannada language and culture in North America.
Kannada is the official language of the State of Karnataka in India, one of the four states of Southern India. The purpose of this website is to bring you all the latest information about the Kannada sangha activities as well as Kannada community news from Austin and surrounding areas. We welcome announcements, news, contributions - any and all information and inquiries that pertain to and interest you as a well wisher of the Kannada community. Use this website to make and maintain contacts, post news of the community and exchange ideas and thoughts about the community.
