As you all know that AKS is run solely by volunteers. AKS depends on the volunteers to conduct every event, be it big or small.

AKS Volunteer mailing list is a perfect way for the committee to reach out to the volunteers. When ever there is a volunteering oppurtunity, you will be notified via email. This is not a periodic Newsletter. This is separate from the AKS Weekly Newsletter. As of now we have about 5 volunteers signed up. We need many more ... so please signup.

There are a lot of volunteering oppurtunities, for example during Rajyotsava/Ugadi events, we need help working backstage, with sound system, decorating hallway/entrance setup, help with ticketing, with serving food, just about anything. During picnic we need help to conduct sports competitions. The more volunteers we have, the more games we can conduct for kids and adults. Besides, Volunteering is also a good way to meet other members of the sangha and work together and make a difference in the community.
